I am glad I found your email address in the newsletter. I have sent similar emails to the 'generic' customer and tech support addresses, but I wanted to find an actual person I could write to in the hopes that my message would be passed on 'up and down the ladder.' I think people are always so willing to send off complaints via email, that I make it a point to send out kudos...especially when they are so richly deserved.
In short, your service is exceptional. Let me throw out a few more adjectives: excellent, consistent, efficient, superb, wonderful, etc.
I have managed a site with other hosts and am pleased to say nobody even comes close to your service. I have tons of control over my site. It's never down. It's always fully functional. You don't delete my .htaccess and .htgroup files like my last host did to me on a regular basis!!!
Seriously, I've had hosts where my site would be fully functional for maybe 2 out of every 3 weeks.
On the extremely rare occasions that I have had to call your tech support, the person who answered the phone was waaaay beyond 'first tier support.' With my former hosts, I'd call tech support and get somebody from customer service who would 'take my name and email address'. It's so rare (I think only once have I had to call) that I've had to call you all for tech support and that was for some pretty advanced stuff.
There's two reasons I don't ever have to call. 1-Your servers are always up and running. 2-your online support information and documentation is well laid out, and clearly written.
If you ever need a reference, do not hesitate to use me. Seriously, in this day and age when I have to deal with incompetence and poor business management, it is an absolute pleasure to do business with your firm. I look forward to many years as one of your customers.

Just a quick thank you to all the support staff and sys admins, particularly Ray and the billing dept. I am very pleased with the levels of service I am receiving, once I get around to advertising and stop doing other things I may even bring in some more business for you. The addition of an excellent shopping cart system with variable currencies is excellent. Once again, thanks for your support and keep up the good work.
You guys have done a great job. I have used several hosting companies before settling into my home on the web with UST December 1997. I recently checked into other hosting options to save some money, but chose to stay with UST for two reasons. 1.) You have the best stuff to offer, and 2.) I feel rather loyal after 13 months with you. I really like the self-help center and technical library. And the newgroups. And the shopping cart. And everything else!
I had my first need for your tech support today. The person I dealt with was courteous and helpful, the problem was solved in less than 10 min. Although the problem was trivial this still earns you an A+. I work for a software company and know what good tech support takes, so I thought that a thank you and job well done might be appreciated.

The "virtual server" concept is great. This is the major reason I chose UST. Running standard http software (Apache) is great for Unix people like me, and the control panel works well for the "average" user.

Your ecommerce solution is unbelieveable! There is no one out there who can come close to matching your package. I tried three of the largest hosting companies before UST. None of them offered a one-stop ecommerce solution and after I priced everything out it would have cost me thousands of dollars just to set things up. I plan to resell your ecomerce service. Thanks for thinking of your customers and resellers.
I have been using UST for my company (infinityinternet.com) and it's associated domains for over a year now. The pricing UST offers allows our company to make a profit while keeping costs down, but we never have to cut out the features. UST is the only host that I have seen change and increase the options but keep the same price. UST continues to offer more and more. Each time I go to their site I quickly find what I want to know and often a little more!

The organisation that I'm involved with has been using your service for the past few months. Just to try out our options, we decided to setup one client's domain on an alternate provider (who will remain anonymous).NEVER AGAIN. I have been in related businesses for 25 years (advertising, printing, telecom services, direct mail and product fulfillment, etc.) and I have very rarely seen a company as well attuned and responsive to the customer as UST. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I designed a site for a company I work for and have now started my own design service. As a beginner, I've hadmy share of problems with things like making the counter work and message boards. Everytime I have emailed a problem to tech support, they have pointed out what I did wrong (so I can do it right next time hopefully), and then actually fixed the problem! I have also called customer service when I had broader questions and always came away smarter and satisfied! Keepup the good work...
