Many resellers have already started to take advantage of the way UST has structured the ecommerce package in terms of offering it to their virtual host customers. If you are an end-user and not a reseller, the following process basically applies except you will be sent all the information to provision the ecommerce suite. 

Here is the step-by-step process:  

1. Sign up with 1st Commerce's referral program if you are a reseller in order to receive $25 for each approved application you refer to 1st Commerce.  

2. Direct your customers to fill out the Internet merchant account application on the 1st Commerce web site at http://1stcommerce.netThere are no references to UST there.  

3. Upon approval of your customers' Internet merchant account (normally 7-10 working days), your customers will receive their account information from 1st Commerce which will include the URL for the web interface for their gateway access and a user ID and password to their account. 1st Commerce will send the secure public certificate and keys along with the configuration file to UST for gateway setup and installation. When installation is complete, UST will notify you and you may then contact your customers and inform them they may begin conducting transactions with their online Ushop store, merchant account, transaction server, and gateway access. They can check the status of orders through their web interface by using there user ID and password.  At no time will your customers know that UST exists. You may contact 1st Commerce at any time to check on the status of your order. Your customers will be billed separately for their merchant accounts. There is no reference to UST.  

4. The gateway will be accessible to your customers and you will be billed for your customers' gateway on your regular monthly UST bill. In turn, you will bill your customers directly for the transaction gateway and add your fees. The transaction server and gateway will not appear to be associated with UST. With this approach, you will be able to provide your customers with real-time credit card verification and processing, while also earning a bounty on each merchant account that your customers order and provision. Furthermore, the UST thumb print has been eliminated to preserve anonymity.
