Instructions for adding users to a .htaccess file:
    In order to add a new user to your .htaccess file (password protected directory user list), you can use this form to set multiple users to a .htaccess file. This .htaccess file is the list of users that are allowed into a protected area of your website. More information on the .htaccess file is covered in How to password protect a directory.

    Make sure you put in the complete path to the .htaccess file. This would be something such as /www/htdocs/protected

    Note that a .htaccess file must already exist for this page to be used.
