Email alias and forwarding are controlled through the alias file and the
alias database.
The name input box should contain a name only. Your domain name is automatically
included. For example entering webmaster would actually refer to webmaster@yourdomain.com.
The entry in the alias input field points to the final recipient of the mail.
If for example you had an email account joe@earthlink.net you
would just enter joe@earthlink.net in the alias input box.
You can also send the mail to a pop account on your
own domain. If you had a pop account joe@yourdomain.com and
you wanted all mail directed to webmaster@yourdomain.com to
go to joe you would enter webmaster in the name input field and
joe in the alias input field.
Note: if you are trying to add an alias with an autoresponder, you should use
this form instead.
To add an alias enter the name and its alias in the input boxes and click
on Add the alias.
To remove an alias enter the name in the name input box and click on
Remove the alias.
To modify an existing alias you must first remove it and then add the
modified alias.
